Available Dogs

These wonderful individuals are currently in our care and looking for humans to call their own! Please read their full description before you apply. In order to set our dogs (and their humans) up for success in the long run, it is crucial we carefully match them to the right applicant.

Sophie

Sophie

Howllooooooo!! My name is Sophie and I'm ready to be your very best friend! You like  brain games? Running? Training? Going on adventures and getting into  mischief? (The best kind, obvee!).  I'm a spayed, vaccinated Rottweiler cross (look at my pretty face) about 9 months young. The ladies here think I have hound in me, too! My nose is always on the  ground, discovering all the stories the dirt can tell! Pssst, did you  know the fern and the pine tree are having an affair???

I'm looking for a new home. I'm a super special 'n' social girly who needs a place where  I have lots going on to keep my busy brain working (I'm like, really smart) and my growing body active! I'm not yet a year old and definitely enjoy learning new things, playing HARD and leaving it all out on the field!

Sophie (continued)

Do I need doggy friends? If they can match my play style, then YES! Do I need kitties? Only if  you want me to play chase All. Day. Long. Although, it's pawsible a  dog-savvy cat who's game to take me on as their roommate could be  workable. Maybe we can plot to take over the household and steal all the  treats together!

My previous family has taken exceptional care of me but I'm just a bit too much (or a lot too much)  dog for them. I have a big personality, take up space and ain't got no shame about it! Whaddya say, friends? Time to fill out that  application?

Love,

Sophie

Kashoo

Kashoo

My name is Kashoo — yes, like someone sneezed and decided it was a name. I’m a 2-year-old Shepherd mix (allegedly… I don’t remember the paperwork). I’m a large breed (around 70 lbs), which basically means I take up space...but in a majestic, decorative-throw-pillow-come-to-life kind of way.

Let me tell you a bit about myself:

My Best Qualities (confirmed by science and the humans here):

Sweet? Absolutely. I dish out affection like it’s my job.
Smart? I know sit, wait, and lay down — and I execute them with the confidence of a dog who expects a treat.
Calm? I’m basically the canine equivalent of a chill playlist, except when I'm doing my adorable zoomies or see something REALLY exciting.
Respectful? I don’t knock people over or steal sandwiches. (Okay, ONE sandwich, but it was placed at nose level. That’s entrapment.)

Kashoo (continued)

My Social Life:

I love playing with well-matched dog friends. Not the overly rude ones, not the ones who think wrestling is a personality — I’m classy.

The humans think I’d do okay in a home with another respectful dog buddy. Which is perfect, because I’ve been dying to share my theories about squirrels with someone who truly understands.

As for cats… well… look, I’m a gentleman, but I do have a prey drive when it comes to birds, rabbits and anything that bounces suspiciously. So cats might be a “maybe not unless we really take our time establishing our relationship before we share a space”.

Kashoo (continued)

Urgent Announcement from Kashoo:

I am DONE with this kennel life.
I have given it my all — the polite greetings, the soulful eye contact, the dramatic sighs — but it’s time for my next chapter.

I am ready for:

A house
A yard
A couch
A family

Please come get me.

Love,

Kashoo!

Moose

Moose

Hello! I'm Moose. You may be wondering why a very handsome, extremely talented gentleman like myself is still waiting for a home. I wish I had the answer!

Let’s review my qualifications:
• Age: about 2-3 years young
• Weight: ~70 lbs of pure love and questionable spatial awareness
• Looks: top-tier polka dots. Sweetest eyes. Floppiest ears. Biggest head.

Skills include:
- Sit
- Leave it
- Wait
- Spin
- Crawl
- “Beep beep” (which means backing up like a truck!)

Moose (continued)

In my free time I enjoy:
• Learning tricks
• Going for walks
• Meeting new dog friends
• Snuggling. Lots of snuggling.
• Snoozing like a champion

Now, a small note from management: when playtime with other dogs gets very exciting, my enthusiasm can go from 0 to WOOHOO pretty fast. Because of this, I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog. More Moose for you. You’re welcome.

Moose (continued)

Cats? Not sure yet. Could be friends. Could be confusing. Jury’s out.
Kids? Love them! But I’m a bit of a big, happy goofball, so tiny humans might get accidentally Moose-bumped during enthusiastic moments.

I’ve been waiting at the kennel waaaaaaay too long and I’m pretty sure my future best friend is out there scrolling right now. So, if you’ve been thinking your life could use a happy guy like myself... Apply to adopt me!

Love,
Moose

Teddy

Teddy

Hey everyone, my name's Teddy. I'm a large (90lbs) senior lady, maybe a  Chow mix of sorts, between 9 and 14 years old. Don't let my age fool  you, I'm still very playful and goofy! I have those puppy eyes to go with my fun personality. I LOVE spending time with hoomans and I can  appreciate the company of respectful 4-legged friends too (unknown around cats, but everyone's hopeful I could get along with them just  fine). Unfortunately  my owner passed away recently, so I ended up with the rescue folks. I'm  now in a cozy foster home and I'm loving that a LOT more than kennel  life, let me tell you! I love playing with toys, playing fetch, going on  walks and swimming in the lake or ocean.

Teddy (continued)

Ideally, I'd find myself a home where one of my pack members is home  for a good chunk of the day. Although I'm totally fine being home alone, too. I need to lose a little bit of weight so my joints can carry me for the next few years of my life. Other than some ear infections and mild allergies (both of which are being treated) I'm in good health! Do you have a warm and loving home that's in need of the sweetest floof? Not interested in going through the puppy phases or crazy teens? I might be the solution for you! A well established, well socialized, easy going mature dog! I will not let you down!

Rex - Pending Adoption

Rex - Pending Adoption

I’m a 6-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd looking for a calm, understanding foster-to-adopt home. The rescue folks are still getting to know me and I have a vet visit planned for next week! But I think I'm between 40 and 50 lbs, a perfect medium sized buddy!

I have a good amount of energy, but that's probably mainly because my previous owners weren't in a position to walk or socialize me much. I settle nicely after some exercise and once I feel comfortable.

I get along with cats! Other dogs are cool too, though I can be unsure when we’re in close quarters. I'm still learning and this can improve with patience and routine. I do think another confident dog in the home could help me feel safe and secure in the long run!

Rex (continued)

I need a home without super young kids, where I have time and space to decompress. I’m very sweet and affectionate and I’d love a family who can help me get a little healthier - it wouldn't hurt for me to shed a few pounds. I haven’t been exposed to the world much, so I need someone patient to help me explore life safely.

If you have a calm home and a big heart, I’d love to meet you! As long as you're aware that I'm new to this chapter of my life and everyone's still getting to know me, applications for me are open!
