Cubby and Maggie
We’re Cubby and Maggie. Unfortunately, our owner is experiencing serious health issues and is no longer able to care for us, so we’re hoping to find a family who will open their heart and home to us. We're patiently waiting in a loving foster home.
I’m Cubby, the white one! I’m a 14-year-old Shih-Tzu x Maltese and a teeny-tiny guy weighing just 6.5 lbs. I’m a gentle, easygoing little boy who absolutely adores company. Dogs, humans, cats,...even tiny kittens seem to think I’m pretty snuggly! I’m also a wonderful leash walker and an all-around lovely companion. My teeth are unfortunately in pretty rough shape and the vet has recommended a full-mouth extraction. My surgery is scheduled for October 16th and I’m pretty sure I’m going to feel SO much better afterward! I’ve also been told my kisses will be much more welcome once my stinky breath is gone, so I’m calling that a win!
And I’m Maggie, the black-and-grey gal! I’m a 12-year-old Terrier x weighing 19 lbs. Don’t let my age fool you! I’m still full of beans! If you hold a treat up, I’ll even do a little dance while balancing on my two hind feet. I love to snuggle, too! I just need a little more time to warm up to other dogs and cats. Once I’m comfortable, though, I can happily coexist with everyone. Fast-moving kittens make me nervous, so I’m afraid those aren’t my cup of tea! I also need some dental work, which our wonderful rescue is taking care of.
Cubby and Maggie have shared so many years together and we really hope to find a family who will make a commitment to both of them.

We’re guessing we’re Malamute/Husky mixes. Our personalities and vocals are doing a pretty good job backing that theory up.
We are a fun, social, playful bunch who think everything is a toy and everyone is a potential snuggle buddy.
All three of us LOVE to be held and snuggled. Better hurry, though… we won’t be lap-sized for long!
We’re expected to grow into large dogs with fluffy coats, so our future families better be prepared for lots of brushing, puppy antics and some serious Northern-breed energy and vibes.

Mochi (female - Available)
I’m doing wonderfully with my large northern-breed foster sibling and would love a canine brother or sister in my forever home. I adore meeting new people and dogs and would make a fantastic little adventure buddy by day and couch snuggler by night.
I’m actually pretty good about chewing only what I’m supposed to, my toys! Although I do have a slight weakness for stealing socks!
I’m still a puppy, so I’m working on housetraining and learning all the important things, including surviving teething! My future family should be ready for puppy life, patience, training and lots of love.
I’ll grow into a large, fluffy girl, so regular brushing will be part of the deal. I can also be a little vocal in the car… gotta keep the soundtrack going!

Meet the Ocean Crew! AKA Birdie's babies!
Hi! We’re Cove, Barnacle, Siren and Sailor, 4 adorable little puppies looking for our forever families! Our mom is a Shepherd mix and the humans think we might have some Husky and a few other mystery breeds tossed into the recipe. We’re expected to be large dogs when we grow up, but right now we’re still just tiny babies.
We’re about 9-10 weeks old and ready to start moving into our foster-to-adopt homes by the end of the week!
We’re friendly. We’re playful. We LOVE people. We run, wrestle, explore, snuggle, give kisses and always welcome belly rubs!
We should probably mention that we are babies. We’re still figuring out this housetraining business, we're doing so good though! We're also learning that human fingers, toes, shirts, shoelaces or basically anything else we can reach, are not for teething.

Sailor (male - blonde): I’m the only boy and the biggest of us all! I like being the center of attention, especially when food is involved. Feeding time is serious business! I’m not afraid to remind my sisters who (I think) the ruler of the puppy castle is, but secretly I’m a big ol’ snuggle bug!

I’m a 6-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd looking for a calm, understanding foster-to-adopt home. I'm around 50 lbs and on a weight loss journey, a perfect medium sized buddy!
I have a good amount of energy, but that's probably mainly because my previous owners weren't in a position to walk or socialize me much. I settle nicely after some exercise and once I feel comfortable. I have gotten along fine with cats in the past. Although in my previous foster home, there were 3 felines and they excited me a bit too much... To the point where it's been decided I should probably go to a home without cats. Other dogs are cool, though I can be unsure when we’re in close quarters. I would do much better having my humans to myself. When I see dogs out and about on walks, I have big reactions as well. Same with cars, I like to try and chase those big machines (not recommended). I'm still learning and all my quirks can improve with patience and routine.

I need a home without super young kids, where I have time and space to decompress. My rescue peeps say I'm an anxious fella, especially when my routine gets switched up. I’m very sweet and affectionate and I’d love a family who can keep me lots of company. See, I don't enjoy being left alone and I can get vocal when you first leave me. Once I know you've left the house, though, I typically settle.

I'd love if my new family could take me for regular walks. I haven’t been exposed to the world much, so I need someone patient to help me explore life safely. I definitely have some quirks, which we'll get more into if you're interested in adopting me. If you have a calm home and a big heart, I’d love to meet you! As long as you're aware that I'm new to this chapter of my life and are open to learning along with me, applications for me are open!
